A Whole Lot of Bungees
There's a whole lot of bungee cables in this little can. There must be one for any job. Only used the larger ones with a pickup truck, but they worked out great. Only warning - Good luck getting them back in the canister after you've removed them.

Much better quaility than most bungee cords. Steel hooks covered with a layer of plastic.

Nice assortment of sizes and the cost was very reasonable. Seem to be well made. Will buy again when I need more.

Hooks are plastic
The cords are good but I only gave 3 stars based on the description. They describe the hooks as, "extra large plastic coated steel hooks" but they appear to have no metal, they're all plastic. If the description said they're plastic hooks, I still would have purchased them and since they would then meet the description, I would then give 5 stars. Also, I agree with others about them being tightly packed, a canvas bag would make for better storage. Even with plastic hooks, they are a good value.

Quality Issues
Worked great first two times. Kept luggage dry through heavy rain and sleet. But after third use I took it off the car and there were multiple holes in it. I am currently trying to find a place to complain to the company but can't. I would not recommend this carrier.

We have used this carrier once. So far so good. We did notice that if you allow wind to get under the fron of the carrier it will vibrate and make a lot of noise. As long as it's positioned farther back, it works well. We fit a pack and play, two sleeping bags, a tent, furniture pad, air mattress, and two king sized pillows in it. Worth it for the money.

8 YEARS AND STILL WORKING GREAT
I bought mine from pet boys for about on sale. I have used it many-many times. I travel from MI to FL and back at 2 or 3 times a year. I holds 2 medium soft suitcases and other soft type items.
I Have traveled through many rain and snow storms so I am sure it is waterproof (being made of very heavy vinyl). You must sure the zipper is always covered by the vinyl flap. The straps have held all this time. It is super easy to tie down. Never have the straps slipped during many thousands of miles in terrible weather. Once the straps are tightI dont even worry about any more. The only reason I would give it 4 stars vs. 5 is due to the zipper. In cold weather it is hard to zip and one of the zipper handles broke. Also it is a bit cumbersome to load due to the zipper configuration. Because mine is so old I was going to replace it with nice looking a soft cover Thule carrier, however I am concerned they are not as waterproof because of the canvas. I will probably buy another one due to the fact it is cheap but works.

Not What It Is Advertised
We purchased this product on 4/3/07 & received it on 4/7/07. The first thing I noticed in the packing on 4/7/07 were the terms that "Returns must be made within 30 days of purchase", though the box indicated Guaranteed Waterproof. Since we were leaving for Yellowstone the end of April and planned to use the carrier, I first packed a few items and tested it on our vehicle before we left. It seemed to do well in the rain with limited interstate use. However, when we left and drove 70mph on the interstates, the pack flopped up & down on our vehicle, and one strap broke loose on the interstate. The teeth in the strap buckles would not secure for very long and four straps at four hand sewn points would not secure the pack. This was so after the straps were knotted. Two states later I bought two bungy cords that secured the pack. Also after a downpour in Wyoming, the pack also leaked inside. When we returned on 5/7/07, the 30 days had expired. Hence, I consider this pack a waste of money.

good but...
I like the net, but in my Kia Spectra, the included fasteners wouldn't stay attached to the trunk wall with the tape strips that were on them. After I glued them, they seem to be holding up ok though.

Item in picture is incorrect
The net shown in the picture is not the item for sale. I received the item a few days ago and it was not what was expected. I ordered the net for the rear of my 2008 GMC Sierra and this net is very small an can only hold a few small items. Do not order if you expect to put more than two small bags of groceries in your trunk.

Not what it says it is.
The picture on the box and the picture they use to show what the cargo net looks like is not correct.

This net WILL NOT HOLD GROCERIES like you see in the picture. It's too narrow.

My Groceries will stay in the net, but barley. I am dissapointed in this product.

great product . Keeps my packages from rolling all over the back of my truck.

Replacement
I have used one of these on my pickup for about 7 years. One of the hooks finally broke and I could not find one of these locally. The product is great and the company responded very quickly.

Poor Quality
I can't imagine being more disappointed. Considering it's price I had low expectations to start with but the reality of this product was much worse. The hooks on the corners are a cheap plastic that will not last long, the same as the netting material. I would advise avoiding this product.

It works great in the trunk of my coupe.
This product works great. I like it a lot of preventing stuffs moving around in the trunk of mine coupe vehicle.

Bigger then it looks
It is about twice as long as it looks in the picture. Saved me from buying two!

Very pleased!
The storage net works just fine in my 2010 Murano although it did take some modification of the mounting procedure.
As many others have noted, the stick-on attachment "knobs" might work on some surfaces but not on the textured plastic upholstery material used to line most cars and SUVs of today. And I certainly did not want to drill holes in the liner either.

I was able to use "S" hooks to connect to two existing eyelets and a combination of "S" hooks and tie-wraps to make the other two connections. The result turned out great . . . looks good and works perfectly.

The bottom of the installed net sits slightly raised from the flooring until something is placed in it. This makes the net easy to deal with when you have other things to carry that are not suited to a net . . . just lift the net slightly and slide the other item under it. Of course, you can always remove it by just disconnecting it at the "S" hooks.

I wouldn't recommend this product for folks that are not in a position to make adaptations as necessary for their particular vehicle but that applies to any accessory that is not specifically designed for it. In my case, I am very pleased with this product . . . even better than the nets that came standard on two other vehicles I have owned.

About a foot too wide for my car...
This cargo net seems to be as described. Instead of using the stick-on knobs provided (wasn't keen to stick things on the interior of new car), I used some carabiner clips to clip to the loops provided in my car's trunk. It was a bit too slack for my compact station wagon - I can imagine that it would be great for a wider car trunk or a pick-up truck. The bungee cords around the top of the net are sturdy, the net pockets are lightweight and are not anchored at the bottom, so items are meant to be suspended inside the pockets. For the price (about a third the price of the car manufacturer's accessory), I'm not complaining;I was able to make it work to do what I needed, which is to hold things secure when I open the hatch.

Bring your own adhesive
Be warned: the net part is fine -- but finding a way to hang it is another matter. Most cars don't have obvious places to drill holes for the metal screws -- leaving the adhesive the only way to affix the hangers. I followed directions for the adhesive TO THE LETTER, but the hangers never stayed stuck for more than a few hours. I finally resorted to a tube of adhesive from the hardware store.

Works well
This would have cost double from the OEM. I have a Nissan Murano and no such product is offered specifically for this model. Others by the manufacturer are a lot more expensive and probably wouldn't fit any better. My only gripe is that it should have come with "s" hooks. I'm not interested at all in the provided mounts that
require drilling into my vehicle or the essentially worthless stick-on mounts. I picked up a set of 4 "s" hooks for 99 cents at home depot. Works great.

Cargo Net
I was looking for a product that would serve as storage for my 2010 RAV.
This turned out to be the perfect choice. I use it for everything. It relly comes in handy for items that I don't want rolling around in the back.
I'm glad that Amazon came thru again for me. Highly recommend this to anyone.

Needs a little work.
The Turbo Fence does fit nice and is very sturdy. My only problem is with the net. The net is not flexable. I was hoping that the net would be more elastic like the cargo nets that come in SUV's or minivans. It will only work for small items. You won't be able to grocery shopping and put your items in the net. It should do a good job at keeping them from sliding forward though.

I just installed this yesterday, so this review is tentative as of 1/25/09. I bought this in spite of the one review which rated this at one star, because I didn't see anything more attractive. I want to use my truck for commuting, shopping, etc., and want to be able to put grocery bags, boxes, etc, in the back without having them slide forward. I have a flexible cover on my truck which sometimes gets covered by ice, so when things do slide all the way in, I have to climb inside. Not good if I'm in decent clothes... Also, I want to be able to remove it if I need the whole bed...

I will update this after I've actually tried it for a couple of weeks.

Structurally, the bars seem solid enough. The apparatus is held in place by two steel, rubber coated pads which work off of threaded fittings going into both ends of the top bar. As the user screws the pads around, the width of the apparatus gradually increases, thread by thread (quicker, preset, less precise adjustments are also available through adjusting the lenth of the top-bar, to get you in the ballpark). It is then necessary to kid of jam everything into place to make it secure. (There are two pre-drilled holes in each pad, should you wish for a more permanent installation, but I don't think most people would want that.) The bottom of the apparatus rests on two short, perpendicular cross bars, as shown in the photo. In other words there is not much to keep the bottom from pivoting in under pressure (say, strong braking), but there is some resistance.

I find the photo somewhat deceptive. The "U" shape of the lower part of this is actually narrower than it would appear, presumably to allow it to fit between the wheel housings. If, like me, you want to install it further toward the back of the bed, it means that there are some pretty substantial gaps on either side, which would allow things to slide through. This is not correctable through any system of widening the "U", which is a fixed bar structure.

Dont WASTE YOUR MONEY!!!
Will not stay in place, a ten pound box will make it flip up and release yor cargo all over the bed the feet at the bottom are poorly aligned not worth 54 dollars, cheaply made. I spent 12 dollars at the lumber yard and made a custom cargo fence this works 10 times better. I you have to have something like this spend the money on a good bed extender forget this junk it's going back!!!

This fit in by Chevy C10 stepside just barely (bed width about 48 1/2") but I'm glad it did. I have it installed by the tailgate so it will keep grocery bags upright and secure while driving home. It won't damage your bed as long as you install it properly, it has two rubber skids on each end that should wedge in nicely. It was simple to assemble, and has a very nice looking spotted grey metal finish. The pouch will hold small items, but they may come out if you hit a big bump.

This is a great solution to organizing your truck bed better!

EDIT Apr 8, 2010: The rubber end skids fell off and got lost. Now I can't use it anymore else I'll scratch my bed paint. I will have to make a custom rubber pad of some sort before I use it again. If you get this product, make sure the skids are glued on good and tight.

convenience
I love not having to chase things up and down the truck bed. Nothing gets banged up or damaged. It was fairly easy to install and have options for changing placement in the bed.

This is a great product, and it works the way it should.
Easy to move to a different location in the bed of your truck for different loads you are carrying.

Good product and as decribed...I have no complaints with it except it isn't quite as "stretchy" as I would have thought. However it gets the job done and pricing was good. I would recommend and purchase again if needed.

Bungee Cargo Net
There is really nothing wrong with this item. It shipped in a timely manner and was designed as advertised. The bigger issue is that using this is like trying to herd cats. Perhaps the problem is that long bed trucks are not designed to accept all the hooks on the cargo net. I ended up running a stringer around the base of the truck bed and hooking the cargo net to the stringer. It worked but it was messy.

I bought this for my son-in-law for Christmas. The item looks well made and should last. We will find out soon enough!

GREAT Product!
This truck net comes with 20 -- yes 20 -- hooks that can be attached to the bungee cords anywhere making the net very flexible. This hooks snap onto the bungee cords very snugly and then hook easily to the lip of the truck bed wherever needed. When you cover your cargo with a tarp, you can cover the tarp with the net and you don't have to worry about the tarp coming loose. If you have light weight items, tying them down isn't as much of an issue because this net will hold them in place just fine. I have used mine for 3 years now and wouldn't know what to do without it.
