A simple but effective roof rack.
This roof rack was exactly what I expected. I have a 2007 Honda Accord EX and I wanted a simple relatively inexpensive roof rack so I could transport my kayak. A little assembly and some playing around and it was good to go. I originally intended to leave it up for the spring/summer and take it down for the fall/winter when I won't be using it, but I found it was easier to just leave it on the car in case I needed it for something else like a Christmas tree. The main down side is the weight limit. It's fine for my kayak (54 lbs.), a surfboard, a Christmas tree, but with an 88 lbs. limit it's not build for heavy lifting. It looks sporty on the car and I'd say I lose 2-3 MPG having them up there. Came with 2 Honda pads with the Honda logo to reduce the wind resistance noise. Definitely not quiet with the sunroof down, but that's to be expected, I just turn my music up.

Honda CRV Roof Rack
I agree with the previous reviewer that it will make noise over 40 mph. I needed this product for the few times we mount a Thule on top of the CRV. If that is what you are doing, this is a great product. Once you have it installed it is easy to take off and store for another time. Keep your factory caps where you can find them. At first, I thought I would leave it up there all the time, but it is annoying once you are on the highway. When we used the roof rack in combination with the Thule, it was quiet and the roof rack can definitely handle the load. It's a good aftermarket product for a Honda CRV. In our case, it was for a 2008 Honda CRV. The price is right for how often we need this.

CR-V 2010 Roof Rack - Outstanding product
This product is great, the quality, fit and finish exceeded my expectations. I read the reviews of other people that purchased this product on several website all have positive comments. I compared the specs of this product to Honda's OEM and found that Honda product could only support 75LB compare to this product that supports 100 LB.

Instructions provided need to be improved. Go to Honda's website and download their installation instructions.

Good product, awful instruction
The rack is built well. Although some parts are plastic (namely everything except the actual crossbars), this does not seem to affect the durability. Yet.

The instructions are awful, and need to be re-written. Firstly, there is no mention of the 4 rubber seals that are included in the package. These need to be attached to the bottom of the roof rack before installation on top of the car.

It also does not mention that there are left-hand and right-hand brackets (the actual parts do have a -RH or -LH designation).

The lack of clear directions added about an hour to a job that could easily be completed in 15 minutes.

Very prompt delivery! Roof rack worked great and fairly easy to install. Instuctions were not included, but we figured it out and had it installed in about an hour.

Easy to install but is noisy
I bought this roof rack for my 2009 Honda CR-V LX. The installation is very easy with the four caps coming off the roof to expose the mount points and two bolts per mount point. The installation took no time at all. I bought it to handle the Thule snowboard/ski mounts which worked perfectly and have handled many trips to the Colorado Rockies. The one complaint I have is the added wind noise it creates but that's a consequence of having something mounted to the roof. Even without snowboards or the snowboard mounts and just the roof rack the noise is noticeable and can be annoying at first. Overall it works great.
